If you are doing strength-building exercises, you need to be sure that you are getting enough protein in your diet. Otherwise, you won't be successful.
There is a long list of foods to avoid, because they will hamper your goals. Some examples include fatty dairy products like whole milk and processed cheeses. Processed beef, pork, sausage and bacon are some of the meats that are very high in fat, salt and calories, but have very low nutritional value.
What we usually think of as fat burning foods are those that are nutrient dense. That means that the calorie count is very low, especially when you consider all of the nutrients that are found in the food.
